The TDS Kave Series
The X-Balam is a system for cave diving due to its great versatility.
The X-Balam was designed as a minimalist and versatile system: it includes a whole range of hardware to configure the harness and rods in different ways. This hardware is supplied disassembled, so that the diver can configure it according to their needs and preferences and adjust the lengths of the bungees (see detail image).
The upper and lower plates (triangular and trapezoidal) are perforated to be able to create these different custom configurations and have threaded holes for specific elements (included in the scope of delivery).
To complete the system, the X-Balam has a side-mounted pocket for tool accessories with three separate compartments. The size of the main compartment can be adjusted thanks to a quick-zipper system that adjusts the size to the contents, and it features internal tension straps for securing tools. The side compartments on both sides of the main compartment have a zipper (front) and a Velcro fastener (back). It contains two double-ended carabiners for attachment to the harness and is embroidered to match the bladder.
